Job summary

Dart Entities in Suffolk, VA seeks a Lead Forklift Operator for the Suffolk II facility on the 2nd shift. You will help lead the warehouse team, supervise loading/unloading, and ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining quality customer service.

You will supervise, train, and support operators, maintain security, and coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to meet goals. Forklift certification and lifting ability are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years warehouse/inventory experience.
• Experience managing people/budgets preferred.
• 2+ years supervising warehouse staff preferred.
• Computer and database skills required.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification required upon commencement.
• Must lift and/or pull 50 lbs.

We strive to create a family atmosphere where everyone is friendly and appreciates one another.**Position Summary**The Lead Forklift Operator is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor lead a team of associates to achieve a variety of goals that include productivity, outstanding quality/customer service, maintaining a safe work environment, and employee relations (keeping moral high).
