Job summary

A Great Company in Maryland is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the second shift (7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, Sun-Thu). You will supervise cleaning, picking, packing, repair, processing, and staging of rental inventory to meet company SOPs.

You will plan, assign, and oversee staff to achieve warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation goals, monitor metrics, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or similar.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, routing, cross-docking, or distribution desirable.

Job description

Schedule: Second Shift – 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise the cleaning, picking, packing, repair, processing, and staging of rental inventory, ensuring all activities align with company standards and SOPs.

Plan, assign, and oversee staff to meet warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation goals.

Track staffing levels, workflow, labor efficiency, and resources to fulfill customer commitments within budget.

Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members, while ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and productivity standards are maintained.

Manage daily routing and oversee inbound/outbound transportation operations to guarantee safe, efficient, and punctual deliveries and pickups.

Ensure adherence to all company policies, as well as DOT, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.

Review driver documentation, routing plans, and transportation records for accuracy and compliance.

Lead daily transportation and cross-dock meetings, communicating operational priorities, updates, and challenges.

Collaborate with customer service and other departments to address operational issues and ensure smooth daily operations.

Oversee yard activities, including trailer movement, vehicle staging, equipment use, and material handling.

Support overall facility operations, including housekeeping and maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

An associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

At least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, or similar fields.

Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong background in transportation, routing, cross-docking, or distribution is highly desirable.

Demonstrates a hands-on leadership approach with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
