FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead second-shift warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, assigning daily work, supporting shipping and receiving operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, monitoring productivity, improving workflow, and ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on warehouse leader with team supervision experience, warehouse equipment experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach employees while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting the second-shift warehouse team
  • Assigning daily work and providing direction to warehouse associates
  • Ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Coordinating daily warehouse assignments to meet productivity goals
  • Overseeing receiving, stocking, and organization of incoming products
  • Ensuring inventory is properly maintained and warehouse areas are organized
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
  • Conducting routine inspections and addressing potential safety concerns
  • Ensuring warehouse equipment is properly inspected and maintained
  • Working with forklifts, order pickers, swing reach trucks, rider pallet jacks, wrapping machines, balers, and related warehouse equipment
  • Supporting safety initiatives and maintaining required documentation
  • Partnering with HR and leadership on safety programs as needed
  • Training, coaching, and developing warehouse team members
  • Monitoring team performance, productivity metrics, and quality standards
  • Supporting attendance, accountability, and daily team performance expectations
  • Assisting with creating and updating standard operating procedures
  • Identifying operational challenges and recommending solutions
  • Improving warehouse workflow, processes, safety, and productivity
  • Jumping in to assist with warehouse activities when needed
  • Supporting extended hours, occasional weekends, or additional training needs as business demands require
  • Maintaining professional communication with team members, leadership, and internal partners
  • Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience required
  • Warehouse supervisory, team lead, or hands‑on leadership experience preferred
  • Experience leading, assigning work, coaching employees, and driving productivity required
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Order picker, swing reach truck, and rider pallet jack experience preferred
  • Experience with wrapping machines, balers, or related warehouse equipment preferred
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, organization, and inventory flow
  • Safety‑focused mindset with the ability to maintain standards and support accountability
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
