Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Warehouse/Production Supervisor for a 1st shift team in Mequon, WI. You will lead safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement projects while overseeing daily warehouse and production operations.

You will report to the Sr Warehouse Supervisor and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and cross‑functional teams to meet operational goals. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment.
• Experience supervising employee performance, training, staffing, and workforce scheduling.

• Experience managing daily production schedules, inventory movement, and material flow.
• Production status, operational metrics, and business priorities across multiple teams and shifts.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in resource planning, capacity planning, and labor utilization.
• Proficiency with manufacturing, warehouse, or order management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues and achieve business goals.

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse/Production Supervisor to lead a 1st shift team of 25-30 employees. You will guide safety, quality, productivity, customer delivery, and continuous improvement projects while overseeing daily warehouse and production operations. The supervisor will manage staffing, scheduling, employee development, performance management, and resource planning to ensure operational goals are achieved. You will have experience leading teams, coordinating production and inventory activities, managing material flow, and using Lean methodologies to improve processes and eliminate waste. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills are essential. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other cross‑functional teams. The partnership drives business results and fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You will report to the Sr Warehouse Supervisor and work onsite in Mequon, WI.

Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Four year bachelor's degree in production & operations, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, inventory, or related discipline.
• Minimum of two years manufacturing related experience.
• Working knowledge of capacity and production planning tools and techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Leadership of flexible work teams.
• Customer service or technical support involvement.
• SAP business system knowledge.
• LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
