Holmen Cheese LLC is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead first- and second-shift operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials and finished goods through the facility.

The ideal candidate balances daily operational demands with accountability, safety, and a drive for continuous improvement, while coordinating with production shift supervisors to maintain flow and meet production priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations on first and second shift to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Coordinate load appointments with customer service and procurement to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Direct and monitor decaging to meet safety and production needs.
• Ensure warehouse aligns with production priorities and establish operating procedures.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, identification, and movement of products and materials.
• Assign daily tasks and clarify expectations to staff.
• Monitor attendance, conduct, and performance.
• Enforce safety requirements and company policies.
• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Monitor productivity and identify efficiency improvements.
• Hold employees accountable for meeting performance expectations.
• Ensure documentation and operational records are completed.
• Ensure proper and safe operation of forklifts and other equipment by trained staff.
• Report incidents, near misses, and damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead first- and second-shift operations and ensure materials and products move safely, efficiently, and accurately throughout the facility. This role oversees decaging activities, coordinates workflow, ensuring employee flow established safety, quality, and operating procedures

The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with production shift supervisors to coordinate priorities, maintain operational flow and ensure a smooth transition between shifts. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can balance daily operational demands with employee accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What we will need you to do:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations on first and second shift to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
• Work with customer service and procurement teams to ensure load appointments are established to ensure timely delivery and receipt of finished goods and raw materials
• Direct and monitor decaging to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and according to production needs.
• Ensure warehouse aligns with production priorities and establish operating procedures.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, identification, and movement of product and materials.
• Work closely with Production Shift Supervisors to coordinate daily priorities and needs. Assign daily tasks and ensure employees understand job expectations and priorities.
• Monitor employee performance and address attendance, conduct, and performance concerns.
• Ensure employees follow established work instructions, safety requirements and company policies.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on communications, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Hold employees accountable for meeting established performance expectations
• Ensure required documentation and operational records are completed.
• Ensure proper and safe operations of forklifts and other warehouse equipment by authorized and trained employees.
• Report incidents, near misses, product damage and other concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• High School Diploma required.
• Secondary education is preferred
• Previous experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional motivator, skilled in leading teams and conflict resolution skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required
