Job summary

Holmen Cheese is recruiting a Warehouse Team Member for the 1st shift to support production readiness, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. The role involves fast-paced, physical work with occasional forklift use in a busy warehouse environment.

You will cage/decage products, palletize shipments, operate a vacuum lift, and ensure proper documentation in the JustFoods ERP system. Experience with ERP and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working within an ERP system.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Cage and de-cage product to prepare it for shipping.
• Use a vacuum lift assist device to move product.
• Palletize product to prepare for shipping.
• Ensure security of warehouse (doors sealed, lights in working order, docks plates and levelers in good condition).
• Enter warehouse operations in JustFoods ERP.
• Drive stand up forklift to load according to load sheet.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Ensure production has the needed materials ready for their production runs.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
• Control and organize storage and inventory space.
• Inspect trucks for sanitary conditions on shipments and fill inbound/outbound documentation.
• Place seals on outgoing shipments and verify seals on incoming shipments.

Holmen Cheese has an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Team Member on 1st shift. In this role your primary focus will be working in a warehouse getting production ready to ship, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. It is a fast pace, physical position with the occasional use of a stand-up lift truck.

Requirements

What you will do:

• Cage and De-Cage product to prepare it for shipping
• Use a vacuum lift assist device to move product
• Palletize product to prepare for shipping
• Ensure security of warehouse (doors sealed, lights in working order, docks plates and levelers in good condition)
• Enter warehouse operations in JustFoods ERP
• Drive stand up forklift to load according to load sheet
• Load and unload trucks
• Ensure production has the needed materials ready for their production runs
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work are met
• Ensure a high degree of detail and quality on every job
• Control and organize storage and inventory space
• Inspects trucks for appropriate sanitary conditions on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Fill out inbound/outbound inspection documentation
• Ensure seals are placed on all out-going shipments and ensure seals are intact on in-coming shipments. Prepare bills of lading inclusive of product information, common carrier information, seal number and temperature requirement.
