Talentify is seeking a Plant/Warehouse Supervisor in Wichita, KS, to lead a team toward productivity, quality, and safety while meeting deadlines and budgets. The role includes hiring, training, and maintaining a high-performance work environment with strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities include coaching, performance reviews, safety training, scheduling, and coordinating with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic math and reading.
• Degree preferred; 2-3 years supervisory experience in related field.
• First aid and CPR training is a plus.

• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary functions.
• Coordinate, assign, and review work.
• Direct staff on priority of work to be accomplished.
• Ensure team members receive required instruction in safety procedures and equipment use.
• Maintain professional communications with all internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Manage effective record keeping, filing, and other administrative duties.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately and forward reports to the Operations Manager within 24 hours.
• Monitor working conditions to ensure safety and take corrective action as required.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve personnel and quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Plant Manager.

Job Title: Plant/Warehouse SupervisorJob Description

As a Plant/Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for guiding a team of employees to achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety while adhering to operational deadlines and budgets. This role requires recruiting and hiring qualified employees and ensuring they receive necessary training and education. You will maintain a high-performance work environment through goal-setting, communication, and fair treatment of all employees.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of equipment and tolerances.
• Warehouse experience with forklift, packing, and measuring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree preferred.
• 2-3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of metals handling, staging, processing, packaging, and shipping.
• First aid and CPR training.
• Exposure to labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, lean practices, and sales functions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $72000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
