Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead a dynamic team at our client site in Sacramento, CA. You will partner with the Site Manager to drive safety, efficiency, and quality, supervising dock personnel and ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will build strong relationships with warehouse staff and drivers, train new hires, manage schedules, and implement process improvements to meet client requirements while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in large inbound warehouse or distribution center environments.
• 2-3 years of 3rd Party Logistic experience desired.
• Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment and ability to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with the team.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining safety standards and compliance.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Forklift certification and experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

• Address operational challenges with proactive problem solving and innovations.

Lead & Supervise: Directly supervise and evaluate warehouse personnel on the dock, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient load handling, and the safe use of equipment.
Build Relationships:Quickly form effective working relationships with warehouse staff and drivers. Your ability to connect and communicate will drive team cohesion and operational success. Work closely with the customer, managing and growing the relationship.
Ensure Safety & Compliance:Maintain the highest standards of safety through observations, incident reporting, and compliance with all safety protocols. Your vigilance will ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Operational Excellence:Oversee work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow to meet client requirements. Your focus on efficiency will enhance productivity and service quality.
Collaborate & Train:Work closely with the Site Manager to interview, hire, and train new employees. Lead training initiatives to improve employee performance and morale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
Problem-Solve & Innovate:Be a natural problem solver, addressing operational challenges with innovative solutions and proactive strategies to maintain seamless operations.

Your Arsenal: Skills & Qualifications
