Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

The primary role of a Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee warehouse employees, ensuring the achievement of business objectives in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and support hourly employees with their needs and concerns.
• Address performance behaviors by commending positive actions and discouraging negative ones.
• Use the Quality Network problem-solving process to address opportunities and engage the workforce for ideas.
• Apply the Workplace Organization (WPO) process to improve layouts and efficiency.
• Perform daily updates in the Timekeeping System (TKS) for accurate payroll processing.
• Utilize A-3 reporting format to document problem-solving activities and observe local A-3 guidelines.
• Conduct daily meetings to communicate business performance and facilitate two-way discussions.
• Perform and document weekly safety observation tours.
• Plan daily workloads in advance and support colleagues to optimize shift performance.
• Observe contractual requirements at both national and local levels.
• Enforce shop rules and perform daily SOP audit checks.
• Advance skills through the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process.
• Keep the General Supervisor Shop Committee informed of all pending activities.

• UAW or union experience strongly preferred.
• WMS experience is required.
• Managerial courage and good interpersonal skills.
• Agility to fill gaps as needed in logistics, warehouse management, inventory, and shipping.

This is a Contract position based out of Roanoke, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
