Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for 1st shift in Reno, NV, onsite. You will lead shipping/receiving, coordinate with customer service and purchasing, and drive efficient warehouse operations.

Duties include developing procedures, assigning tasks, scheduling temps, and training staff to ensure quality and compliance. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of related experience with a high school diploma or GED; an associates degree and prior leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• People leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving, customer service, and purchasing to ensure quality customer support.
• Develop, maintain, and execute procedures for handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving materials.
• Assign daily tasks to shipping and receiving staff based on resources and workload.
• Schedule temporary staff as needed based on workloads.
• Train and monitor shipping/receiving staff on job functions and policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve warehouse service levels.
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies to boost profitability and employee well-being.
• Collaborate with Daikin parts organization to resolve business issues.
• Administer company policies as needed.

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
