D&H Distributing, a 100+ year employee-owned technology distributor, seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage the Newnan, GA facility. The role oversees inbound/outbound logistics, staffing, schedules, and safety, ensuring on-time, accurate order fulfillment.

Key duties include leading a team across shifts, monitoring KPIs, coordinating with procurement and planning, and coaching staff to meet productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with a WMS system or warehouse performance tracking.
• Willing to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong safety and process adherence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics including receiving, unloading, and inventory processing.
• Lead and manage the warehouse team across shifts; monitor performance and safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through proper documentation and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with procurement and planning to optimize space and reduce discrepancies.
• Monitor KPIs and generate reports on volumes, efficiency, and errors.
• Enforce company policies and safety standards within the inbound department.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to improve productivity.
• Resolve department-related issues such as delays, damages, and variances.
• Support cross-functional initiatives to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Summary

This role manages assigned warehouse department during assigned shifts (Inbound M-F 7am-4:30pm; Outbound Sun-Thur 9am-5:30pm, Outbound Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Outbound Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am, additional days/hours as needed based on business need), including scheduling, staffing, workload balancing, and ensuring performance and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include coaching, timekeeping, enforcing company policies, effective communication, using reports/tools, and resolving conflicts and operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all inbound or outbound logistics including receiving, unloading, and inventory processing, order fulfillment to ensure smooth and timely flow of goods into or out of the facility.
• Manage and lead team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to productivity and safety standards.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through proper documentation, cycle counts, and adherence to standard operating procedures during the receiving process.
• Collaborate with warehouse and inventory control teams to reduce discrepancies, optimize space utilization, and streamline the flow of inbound materials.
• Monitor KPIs and generate reports on inbound or outbound volumes, efficiency, error rates, and other metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement and enforce compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards within the inbound department.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a productive work environment and encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve department issues, including delivery delays, damage claims, and inventory variances.
• Support cross-functional initiatives, working with procurement, planning, and outbound operations to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of WMS system or having previously worked to track performance standards.
• Be able to work flexibly to work on various shifts, and departments, as required.
• Overtime, Weekends, Holidays, as required
• Operate in a safe, neat, and orderly manner.
• May operate motorized equipment (pallet jack, forklift, order picker, reach truck, etc.).
• Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area.
• Complete other related duties as assigned
