D&H Distributing Co. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage the assigned warehouse department at our Newnan, GA location.

This onsite role oversees scheduling, staffing, workload balancing, and ensures performance and quality standards are met across inbound and outbound logistics. The role requires coaching, timekeeping, enforcing policies, effective communication, and use of reports/tools to resolve operational issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in distribution/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with WMS and performance-tracking systems.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts and departments; overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety and a clean, hazard-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and ensure timely flow of goods.
• Lead a team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy via documentation and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with procurement and planning to optimize supply chain.
• Monitor KPIs and generate reports on volumes and error rates.
• Train and mentor staff; resolve conflicts and issues.

Summary
This role manages assigned warehouse department during assigned shifts (Inbound M-F 7am-4:30pm; Outbound Sun-Thur 9am-5:30pm, Outbound Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Outbound Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am, additional days/hours as needed based on business need), including scheduling, staffing,workload balancing, and ensuring performance and quality standards are met.Responsibilities include coaching, timekeeping, enforcing company policies,effective communication, using reports/tools, and resolving conflicts andoperational issues.

• Implementand enforce compliancewith company policies, industry regulations,and safety standards within the inbound department.

• Knowledgeof WMS system or having previously worked to track performance standards.
• Beable to work flexibly to work on various shifts, and departments, asrequired.

• Operatein a safe, neat, and orderly manner.
• Mayoperate motorized equipment (pallet jack, forklift, order picker, reachtruck, etc.)
