Job Location: AUSTELL, GA
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly
Description

Position Summary:

Oversee a team of warehouse personnel, processes, and activities to provide a safe operation that meets deadlines and customer expectations.

Involved with the Inbound, Inventory and Outbound operations; Auditing transaction across all 3 functions. Assisting drivers with checking in and out of the facility and maintaining the 5s program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive a culture of safety.
  • Lead a group of warehouse associates.
  • Maintain performance and productivity standards.
  • Set a standard of excellence across the team.
  • Communicate warehouse issues, personnel issues, and sort issues to the Supervisor.
  • Communicate failures and reinforce positive behaviors.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Must be able to read and speak English

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Interpersonal and Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Experience with warehouse software.
  • Organizational; Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations.
  • Train and provide work direction to others.
  • Operate a computer terminal.
  • Lift heavy objects.
  • Maintain records, inventory, and prepare reports.

Physical Demands:

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed, may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods during the day, reaching above shoulder heights, below waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the day. The position may require lifting heavy supplies and office materials. Travel up to 10% may be required.
