Job summary

Role Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, shipping, returns, order filling, and recordkeeping, especially for controlled substances. They lead, train, motivate, and monitor warehouse associates, fostering a safety-conscious environment and compliance with policies, safety rules, and DEA regulations. The role involves managing workflow, supporting process improvements, and maintaining detailed records of shipments and inventory. Supervisors interact with customers to resolve delivery or order issues and ensure high-quality packing standards. They also oversee staffing, attendance, performance, and overtime management in their area of responsibility.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years of related, progressively responsible work. Essential skills include effective communication, decision-making, basic math, analytical thinking, leadership, interpersonal skills, and proficiency with computer applications like Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols is necessary, along with the ability to operate equipment such as reach trucks. Flexibility to work extended hours, participate in physical inventories, and respond to emergency needs is required.
