Our Lancaster DC is looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor.

Shift: start time 10:00 am - Finish

Position Purpose: Responsible for supervising the shipping/receiving functions of all outgoing/incoming products from the warehouse. Leads and controls activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient and accurate operations. Ensures shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed effectively, and that warehouse contents are protected against loss. Maintains warehouse documentation and reports, conducts operations per established procedures, and keeps management informed of activities. Supports area personnel as needed.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Provides direction and motivation to ensure workload completion in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintains a positive presence on the floor during shifts.
• Supervises all warehouse functions.
• Completes necessary paperwork and reports.
• Conducts training for new hires and follow-up training.
• Performs job evaluations and communicates results.
• Evaluates work performance for promotions, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
• Communicates with management and other departments to meet goals.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and understands emergency procedures.
• Performs duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies as appropriate.
• Maintains good attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

• Efficient warehouse receiving and delivery processes.
• Accurate inventory levels and records.
• Current and accurate documentation and records.
• Compliance with safety regulations.
• Professional relations with suppliers and internal departments.
• Management informed of activities and issues.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: Equivalent experience.

Knowledge:

• Basic purchasing and inventory procedures.
• Computer applications knowledge.
• Familiarity with courier and mailing functions.

Experience: At least three years of progressive related experience.

Skills/Abilities:

• Leadership skills.
• Ability to organize and coordinate team activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance equipment and computer applications.
