Job summary

Kirby Risk in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead the team, coach employees, and ensure efficient, accurate, and on-time product movement.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling, training, hiring, and developing staff, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• College coursework and/or 3+ years of supervisory or team leader experience (warehouse, quality, customer service, etc.).
• Experience leading teams of 15+ employees.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Bilingual communication skills.
• Understanding of business operations and warehouse processes.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Proficiency with computers; Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates while setting clear expectations and helping them succeed.
• Create employee schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support daily operations.
• Provide training, mentoring, performance feedback, and employee development opportunities.
• Build trust within the team through open communication and consistent leadership.

• Handle hiring, performance management, documentation, and terminations as needed.
• Cross-train employees to build a flexible workforce.
• Partner with leadership and other departments to meet operational goals and customer expectations.
• Help ensure the team works safely while meeting quality and productivity expectations.

What You Will Do As a Warehouse Supervisor

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading and supporting the 2nd Shift team to achieve operational goals while creating a positive and productive work environment.

You Will
