Job summary

Cainiao Group is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead on-the-floor execution, drive efficiency, and maintain safe, efficient inbound to outbound flow. You will manage budgets, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve service levels.

Job description

Achieve warehouse performance objectives, in particular by establishing warehouse on-the-floor operation excellence daily management methods; define cost saving, productivity and service level improvement opportunities, measure performance, analyze opportunities, improve and control performance, constantly aim to reach the ultimate goal to establish outstanding customer satisfaction, speed inbound to outbound cycle time and eliminate errors.

Maintain receiving, warehousing, and outbound operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Communicate closely with internal and external warehouse customers, report to management and to group internal stakeholders.

Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts including automated sorting machinery; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions, report to Management.

Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Required Skills

Great supervision & leadership skills, particularly for warehouse on-the-floor people management skills.

Proven experience with developing warehouse operation budgets, financial controlling and results delivered.

Excellent surveillance skills, communication & reporting skills.
