Job summary

Cainiao Group is seeking an experienced warehouse operations leader in California to drive on-the-floor excellence, optimize inbound and outbound flows, and deliver cost and service improvements.

The role requires strong supervision skills, budget discipline, safety leadership, and fluency in Mandarin and English to coordinate with multinational stakeholders. You will implement layouts, manage staff, and report performance.

Qualifications

• Strong supervision and leadership skills for on-the-floor warehouse teams.
• Experience developing warehouse operation budgets and financial control.
• Experience in safety management and process development.
• Excellent surveillance, communication and reporting skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve warehouse performance objectives with daily management methods to improve cost, productivity, and service levels.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and outbound operations with policies and procedures.
• Communicate with warehouse customers and report to management and stakeholders.
• Plan and implement new layouts including automated sorting machinery; inspect equipment.
• Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff.
• Coach, counsel, and appraise staff; monitor and plan results.

Job Description

• Achieve warehouse performance objectives, in particular by establishing warehouse on-the-floor operation excellence daily management methods; define cost saving, productivity and service level improvement opportunities, measure performance, analyze opportunities, improve and control performance, constantly aim to reach the ultimate goal to establish outstanding customer satisfaction, speed inbound to outbound cycle time and eliminate errors
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and outbound operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Communicate closely with internal and external warehouse customers, report to management and to group internal stakeholders
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts including automated sorting machinery; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Job Requirements

• Great supervision & leadership skills, particularly for warehouse on-the-floor people management skills.
• Proven experience with developing warehouse operation budgets, financial controlling and results delivered.
• Proven experience in safety management, standards & managing processes development
• Excellent surveillance skills, communication & reporting skills
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
