Job summary

EnQuest Energy Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehousing activities in Houston, TX. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards to meet daily performance targets.

Responsibilities include receiving, dispatching, inventory control, cycle counts, and coordinating shipments. The role requires 7–10 years of supervisory experience and strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area with a clean and safe working environment
• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
• Ensure cycle counts and inventory accuracy is monitored and corrected as needed
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
• Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
• Coordinate company vehicle and/or outsource trucking

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. The Warehouse Supervisor will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, this individual should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment

Qualifications

• Proven 7-10 years' work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV) is a plus
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop for extended periods, includes standing, crouching, lifting, bending, etc.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
