Job summary

Royal Hawaiian Movers in Hawaii is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee routing and tracking of household goods, organize staff, and resolve customer shipper complaints. You will implement schedules and policy changes to meet company goals.

The role requires leading warehouse teams, ensuring safety audits, and coordinating loading, packing, and transportation activities, including forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in fast paced and demanding environment.
• Ability to manage warehouse office staff, forklift operators, and/or warehousemen.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities related to routing and tracking of household goods, freight and commodities.
• Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure tasks meet organizational requirements.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
• Implement schedules and policy changes to improve operations.
• Collaborate with managers and staff to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
• Monitor operations to ensure staff comply with policies, safety rules, and regulations.
• Promote safe work by conducting safety audits and meetings with staff.
• Perform warehouse work including receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution of products.
• Assemble, address, stamp, pack, unpack and arrange transportation of products.
• Load, unload, move, or store items per documents or instructions.
• Operate a hand truck, forklift, and other heavy equipment.

Job description

• Direct activities related to in routing and tracking transportation of household goods, freight and commodities.
• Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
• Implement schedule and policy changes
• Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
• Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
• Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings and meeting with individual staff members.
• Perform warehouse work related to receive, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials.
• Assembling, addressing, stamping, packing, unpacking and arranging for the transportation of products.
• Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents (i.e. manifest, bill of ladings) or management instructions.
• Operate a hand truck, forklift, and other heavy equipment.
