Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Clifton, NJ to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will supervise shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment, while creating weekly labor schedules and ensuring safety and accuracy across tasks.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with forklift operation and inventory accuracy as core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• 2+ years of forklift experience.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and inventory management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and quality standards.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, climb, and operate warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated and frozen storage environments.
• Ability to work around forklifts, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment.

Salary

$26-$28 per hour
