Job summary

Cantrell Gainco Group in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate inventory and timely transfer of goods.

You will coordinate with other departments, uphold safety policies, monitor expenditures, and drive process improvements while meeting deadlines. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required, along with experience in distribution or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
• At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing required.

Responsibilities

• Assists management with hiring and training of new employees.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
• Leads warehouse team to ensure the following tasks are completed: Receives and records new inventory; inspects and stores it according to policy.
• Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles differences.
• Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
• Ensures stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
• Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
• Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse, coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans to increase efficiency.
• Monitors expenditures and implements corrective actions if needed.
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Resolves routine equipment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
