Job summary

Wavepoint is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, improve productivity, and manage inventory. You will oversee receiving, storage, and distribution, ensure safety compliance, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes hands-on organization, planning, and reporting, with responsibilities spanning from route planning to ensuring waste-free inventory control and timely delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of product, and maintenance of inventory.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse employees.
• Receive, load, unload, store, and deliver product.
• Schedule, pack, and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports as required. Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse and file records and reports as needed.
• Operate and demonstrate the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards, and procedures and advise of budget-related needs.
