Qualifications

  • 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and loading procedures.
  • Basic computer skills with experience using warehouse management or routing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate goals and performance to the Load Crew teammates to improve engagement.
  • Supervise and lead the warehouse load crew for timely, accurate loading/unloading.
  • Maintain dock management and workflow throughout loading process.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, delivery, and sales to fulfill orders accurately.
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Track productivity, attendance, and performance metrics for the load crew.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) as needed.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage a variety of warehouse activities, such as dock management, warehouse cleanliness, inventory management, and ensuring picking standards are being met by all Team Members. They may also assist with outdates and breakage, receiving and stocking as time allows.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with the Load Crew TM's on goals and performance: e ncourage, excite and engage the team in order to improve communication and retention
  • Supervise and lead the warehouse load crew to ensure timely and accurate loading and unloading of product.
  • Maintain dock management and effective workflow throughout the loading process
  • Maintain clear communication between warehouse, delivery, and sales teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly
  • Enforce company policies and safety procedures, promoting a clean and organized work environment
  • Track productivity, attendance, and performance metrics for the load crew
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as needed to support team operations
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations
  • Take lead with location inventory management, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
  • Ensure all products are handled safely and accurately to maintain quality standards and prevent damage.
  • Utilize computer technology along with the Warehouse Management System to get the job done
HOURS: Full time

Monday-Friday, 11:00AM to completion

Requirements
  • 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience required; previous supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and loading procedures
  • Basic computer skills with experience using warehouse management or routing systems preferred
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe, team-oriented work environment.
  • Can regularly lift and move product weighing 50-165 pounds
  • Can repetitively bend, lift, twist, while moving product around the warehouse
  • Can safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, walkie riders, and pallet jacks
  • Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
  • Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation

$55K-$65K
