Job summary

Lineage in Dallas is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily activities, develop team members, and drive performance across the operation.

You will oversee shipments, inventory, and production planning, work with Operations leadership to meet service, quality, safety, and productivity goals, and adapt to shift schedules (1st or 2nd shift).

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and assign duties to direct reports to ensure productivity.
• Manage shipments and organize merchandise while maintaining inventory.
• Plan production schedules and allocate resources, keeping time and production records.
• Track warehouse activities and report to designated plant personnel.
• Ensure adherence to service, quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Available shifts:

1stShift Supervisor - Mon-Fri 6am-2pm

Schedule flexibility required (1 hour prior to start time and 1 hour post start time)

2ndShift Supervisor - Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm

Schedule flexibility required (1 hour prior to start time and 1 hour post start time)

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Manage operational procedurestoincludetheincomingandoutgoing shipments, handletheorganizationofmerchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation forcompletion of job assignmentswhilekeeping time and production records
• Track andsendreportsto designated plant personnel
• Track warehouse activitiesincluding sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of products

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with machinery and material handling equipment
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
• Perform assigned projects asinstructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 2years warehouseor logisticsleadershipexperience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of40lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
