Job summary

Lineage is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor to lead a warehouse team in Friona, TX, weekdays 4:00 PM–12:30 AM. You will manage floor operations, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse leadership, experience with WMS, and strong communication. It includes developing people, driving results, and working in a collaborative, positive culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse or logistics leadership roles.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to work in temps from -20 F to 100 F while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train warehouse team; ensure productivity and safety.
• Oversee inbound/outbound shipments and inventory control.
• Plan production schedules and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Produce and share reports with plant personnel.
• Monitor warehouse activities to ensure product availability and accuracy.

Job description

This is more than a supervisory role. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a close-knit team, make a direct impact on operations, and work in a facility known for its positive culture, strong communication, and collaborative environment. If you’re a leader who enjoys being on the floor, developing people, and driving results, this could be the perfect fit. 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4pm to 12:30pm.

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Manage operational procedurestoinclude the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organization of merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production records
• Track and send reports to designated plant personnel
• Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of products

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with machinery and material handling equipment
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
• Perform assigned projects asinstructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 2years warehouseor logisticsleadershipexperience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of40lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
