Job summary

Yanfeng is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, supervise 15–20 direct reports, and ensure accurate stock control and FIFO material flow. You will drive improvements, coach staff, and ensure safety and compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehousing, 1–3 years in automotive, and proficiency with WMS and Microsoft systems. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Area of study in General Studies or Supply Chain Management or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience supervising warehouse/materials with direct reports.
• 1-3 years in the automotive industry preferred.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Able to pass forklift certification testing.
• Detail oriented with strong counting/math skills.
• Experience with Microsoft systems.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience coaching employees (performance reviews and corrective actions).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities: receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
• Ensure FIFO rotation of materials across all warehouses.
• Record receiving and distribution of goods in the warehouse.
• Record stock levels and update coordinates for material coordinators.
• Participate and implement improvement projects for warehouse operations.
• Follow YF iOS work instructions and warehouse procedures.
• Adhere to environmental, health, safety and compliance requirements.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment; conduct safety audits.

Supervisory Capacity: Direct Reports: 15-20

• Ensure that the inventory and reliability of materials at least 95% both physical and theoretical system of raw material warehouses, WIP and Shipments
• Manage the day-to‑day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
• Ensure that the rotation of materials in all warehouses is carried out through the PEPS system (first entries, first departures/FIFO)
• Manage the human resources of your staff for the distribution of tasks in the plant.
• Record receiving and distribution of goods (production material) in warehouse.
• Participate and implement improvement projects for warehouse operations.
• Update of stock level for Material coordinators
• Follow YF iOS work instructions and other procedures concerning warehouse management.
• Follow legal and other requirements concerning environment protection.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards promptly.

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Area of Study: General Studies/Supply Chain Management or similar
• *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
• 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with warehouse/materials supervision with previous experience supervising people.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license
• Able to pass forklift certification testing.
