Job summary

Yanfeng in Chattanooga seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of 15–20 and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatching. You will ensure FIFO across warehouses and maintain accurate inventories.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse supervision, automotive industry experience preferred, and ability to travel to customer sites. Strong leadership, safety focus, and ERP/WMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the warehouse including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
  • Ensure inventory reliability of materials at least 95% in physical and theoretical systems.
  • Maintain FIFO rotation across all warehouses using PEPS/FIFO.
  • Lead and develop staff; assign tasks and supervise 15-20 direct reports.
  • Record material receipts and distributions; participate in annual inventory.
  • Implement improvement projects for warehouse operations.
  • Follow IOS, EHS, product safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain clean, safe work environment and conduct safety audits.

  • Manage the human resources of your staff for the distribution of tasks in the plant.
  • Record receiving and distribution of goods (production material) in warehouse.

  • Update of stock level for Material coordinators
  • Follow YF iOS work instructions and other procedures concerning warehouse management.
  • Follow legal and other requirements concerning environment protection.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards promptly.

Required Qualifications

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study: General Studies/Supply Chain Management or similar

  • Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with warehouse/materials supervision with previous experience supervising people.

1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Able to pass forklift certification testing.
