Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and drive reliability on production lines within a manufacturing setting. You will manage safety programs, scheduling, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting, crane operation, budgeting, and coordinating with senior management on project status and improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Industrial Maintenance experience.
  • 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Must be able and willing to travel to customer sites, including manufacturing plants.
  • Knowledge of timer’s & counter theory; electronics theory; encoders/decoders theory; Ohm’s Law; hydraulics theory & functionality.
  • Overhead crane experience (Certification required).
  • Internal customer service oriented.
  • Possess a passion for excellence.

  • Excellent math skills.

  • Experience with basic shop tools (hand tools, drills, lathes, milling machine); bridge & rail cranes; drilling/tapping; circuit design & layout; cutting & threading pipe.
  • Basic pneumatic troubleshooting & repair; building maintenance- plat lighting, compressors, and emergency lighting; bending conduit and pulling wire; installation & setup of motor contractors and VFDs.
  • Ensure all employees follow the safety guidelines established by the Company; disciplinary action if noncompliant.
  • Actively intervene to correct unsafe actions and conditions.
  • Conduct daily PPE observations and coach employees; report all accidents.

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is integral to the overall development and success of their workplaces, managing & leading the maintenance staff. This includes the Technical Support Functions (e.g., Maintenance, Special Projects, etc.). This also includes Current Production, Product Launch, Process Launch, and PM Strategy.

Supervisory Capacity

Key Responsibilities
  • Be able to read advanced electrical and blueprint schematic.
  • Have experience with Integrated circuit troubleshooting; wire control circuits for 5, 12, 24, ad 120 volts; advanced pneumatic circuit design.
  • Advanced Welding skills and experience with welding tools.
  • Experience with basic shop tools (hand tools, drills, lathes, and milling machine); Bridge & Rail Cranes; Drilling/tapping; Circuit design & layout; Cutting & threading pipe;

  • Ensure all employees follow the safety guidelines established by the Company. Noncompliance to the safety policies will result in disciplinary action and/or termination;
  • Actively intervene to correct recognized unsafe actions and conditions.
  • Conduct daily observations of PPE use and safe work practices adherence and coach employees as needed; Ensure that all accidents including first aid are reported.
  • Oversee hourly employee timecards, including approvals for overtime and vacation within the Infor time system
Additional Responsibilities
  • Capable of sizing motor starters and overloads for application.
  • Ability to maintain machine functionality.
  • Ability to complete employee development plans, organize, communicate, and motivate employees. Must be able to prioritize own work‑day schedule.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and directs all necessary maintenance and construction work. Makes preliminary, intermediate, and final inspection of maintenance and construction work to ensure proper workmanship, materials, and conformance to work methods and safety regulations.
  • Meets with senior management regularly and gives them monthly budgets and project status; May also meet with his counterparts, technical partners, and customers.
  • Conducts regular meetings with teams, whether as a whole or through one‑on‑one discussions. They provide each team member an objective or goal that they will monitor progress or status on throughout the year. They then conduct performance reviews of team members and give them feedback, as well as makes promotion recommendations or salary increases if applicable.

Required Education Level
  • Technical School
  • Area of Study: Engineering, Technical Engineering Degree, certificate or similar.
  • *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required Qualifications
