Objective

Provide leadership in materials, with focus on improving reliability, inventory, accuracy, customer fill rates and inventory turns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine inventory stocking requirements for end items and components and establish inventory layout to support the requirements.
  • Lead the cycle count process; ensuring counts are being done on time.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized.
  • Thoroughly reconcile cycle count variances and lead the process for improving cycle count accuracy.
  • Train, supervise, and lead the warehouse team in day-to-day activities.
  • Develop Kanban inventory procedures for replenishment of line side storage.
  • Supervise daily work activities in warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials production resources in order to support efficient, uninterrupted activities.
  • Determine inventory stocking requirements for inside Kanban items to support manufacturing.
  • Provide leadership in all material control functions.
  • Track warehouse metrics and implement controls for improvement.
  • Lead and audit kitting process to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Modify and monitor layout of warehouse to improve flow and efficiency of manufacturing process.

Physical Requirements

This position demands physical strength, endurance, using industrial tools and machinery. Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), standing for a long period of time, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and working in a fast‑paced production setting.

Pay Range:
Starting at $68,000- $72,000 plus straight time overtime and annual incentive plan in place

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual salaries will be set within the compensation range and determined by factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
