Sazerac is seeking a Receiving Supervisor at Barton 1792 Distillery to lead a team and ensure safe, accurate receipt and handling of production materials, supporting bottling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive inventory accuracy, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, monitor performance, and uphold safety and quality standards while fostering a collaborative, continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong leadership with ability to communicate across all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/ERP systems.
• Experience supervising in fast-paced manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement practices, and manufacturing best practices.

• Oversee the receipt, verification, unloading, and routing of production materials, including bottles, labels, closures, adhesives, and maintenance supplies.

• Monitor department performance, prepare operational reports, and partner with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and drive efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while promoting a positive team culture.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Join Barton 1792 Distillery as a Receiving Supervisor and lead a team responsible for ensuring critical production materials are received, verified, and available to support bottling operations. This role combines team leadership, inventorymanagement, and operational planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop receiving department team members to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient material handling and inventory processes.
• Oversee the receipt, verification, unloading, and routing of production materials, including bottles, labels, closures, adhesives, and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate inventory management activities to support uninterrupted bottling operations and maintain accurate system records.

Schedule: AWS Days (7am-7pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory, ERP, or warehouse management systems.

Preferred

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement practices, and manufacturing best practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with regular walking, standing, and movement throughout the facility.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to inspect inventory, operate office equipment, and work around material handling equipment as required.
