Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) in Anchorage, AK seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate Class IX repair parts management. You will supervise staff, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with Army units on turn-ins and documentation.

The role requires 5+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience, familiarity with GCSS-Army and related regulations, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
  • 5+ years of supply/warehousing experience, with at least 2 years in supervision.
  • Experience with Army Class IX repair parts management and turn-in operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CAC and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily receipt, inspection, inventory, storage, and processing of Class IX repair parts.
  • Oversee mass turn-in operations from supported U.S. Army units with proper documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1 and related regs.
  • Monitor warehousing practices including location management and material handling.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate supply clerks, material handlers, and warehouse staff.
  • Verify correctness of turn-in documentation and data entry into GCSS-Army/DPAS/LMP.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly supply status and accountability reports.
  • Support government audits, inspections, PARs, and maintain ISO 9001:2015 records.

Job description

AGL is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work in Anchorage, AK.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise dailyreceipt, inspection, inventory, storage, and processingof Class IX repair parts.
  • Overseemass turn-in operationsfrom supported U.S. Army units, ensuringtimelyandaccuratedocumentation.
  • Ensure compliance withAR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR 750-1, and other Army supply regulations.
  • Monitor warehousing practices includinglocation management, shelf-life control, material handling, and hazardous material (HAZMAT) storage.
  • Enforce standards forserviceability coding (Condition Codes A–H), packaging, and proper disposal of unserviceable or excess parts.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate supply clerks, material handlers, and warehouse staff.
  • Assign work priorities,monitorproductivity, and enforce safety and accountability standards.
  • Ensure team compliance withOSHA, Army, and company safety regulations.
  • Verify correctness ofturn-in documentation(DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts, and inventory adjustments).
  • Ensure accurateandtimelydata entry intoGCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
  • Reconcile inventories, process adjustments, and investigate discrepancies in coordination with theProperty Book Officer (PBO).
  • Prepare andsubmitdaily, weekly, and monthly supply status and accountability reports.
  • Support government audits, inspections, andProperty Accountability Reviews (PARs).
  • Maintain audit-ready records in compliance withISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systemand contract requirements.
  • Coordinate withsupported units, Site Manager, Logistics Analysts, and COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative)for smooth processing of high-volume turn-ins.
  • Identifyprocess bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements for mass turn-in operations.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance ofsite SOPs for Class IX warehousing and turn-in functions.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs. and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments.
  • Must also meet all physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high, or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions.
  • This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, periodic overtime, and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and adverse weather conditions
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred; equivalent Armylogisticsexperience acceptable.
  • Experience: 5+ years of supply and warehousing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience inClass IX repair parts management and turn-in operationsstrongly preferred.
  • Army supply/property accountability regulations:AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1.
  • Armylogisticssystems:GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP.
  • Serviceability coding, shelf-life management, and HAZMAT handling standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage audits, inventories, and high-volume operations under tight deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Must have a real ID
  • Must be able to obtain andmaintaina Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
  • Basicproficiencyin the English language (reading and writing).
  • Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
  • Employees maybe requiredto perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to travel within the United States asrequired. This position may require up to 25% travel.
