Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Supply Technician in Anchorage, AK to support daily receipt, inspection, and processing of Army equipment at a contractor-operated site.

You will verify documentation, update property records, and ensure compliance with Army regulations while maintaining accurate records in logistics systems. Strong organization and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required or substituted with relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
  • Knowledge of Army logistics functions.
  • 2–4 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
  • Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply, or property accountability operations desired.

Responsibilities

  • Turn-In & Receiving Operations: process equipment turn-ins per AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1.
  • Verify turn-in documentation (DA 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts) for accuracy.
  • Conduct visual inspections and apply condition codes for serviceability.
  • Identify, segregate, and tag unserviceable, reparable, or excess items.
  • Accountability & Records Management: entries into Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
  • Assist in inventory reconciliation, discrepancy research, and property adjustments.
  • Maintain accountability of equipment throughout the turn-in process.
  • Support audits, PARs, and inspections by COR or Army officials.
  • Warehousing & Material Handling: store, stage, and organize equipment; operate MHE.
  • Follow Army and OSHA standards for HAZMAT handling and safety.
  • Coordination & Customer Service: assist unit supply personnel; coordinate with supervisors and transportation staff; communicate with Army representatives.

AGL is looking for a Supply Technician to work in Anchorage, AK.

The Supply Technician supports the daily receipt, inspection, accountability, storage, and processing of Army equipment being turned in by units at a contractor-operated site. This role ensures compliance with U.S. Army supply regulations, technical manuals, and contract requirements, while maintainingaccuraterecords in Armylogisticssystems. The Supply Technician isdirectly responsiblefor verifying documentation, updating property records, andassistingin the smooth execution of the Army’s property accountability mission.

Responsibilities
  • Turn-In & Receiving Operations:
  • Process equipment and materiel turn-ins from U.S. Army unitsin accordance withAR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1.
  • Verify turn-in documentation (e.g., DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct visual inspections and apply correct condition codes (A–H) for serviceability.
  • Identify, segregate, and properly tag unserviceable, reparable, or excess items.
  • Accountability & Records Management:
  • Ensuretimelyandaccurateentries into Armylogisticssystems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
  • Assistin inventory reconciliation, discrepancy research, and property adjustments.
  • Maintain accountability of all equipment andmaterialthroughout the turn-in process.
  • Support audits, Property Accountability Reviews (PARs), and inspections by the COR or Army officials.
  • Warehousing & Material Handling:
  • Safely store, stage, and organize equipment in designated warehouse or yard areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (MHE) asrequired.
  • Follow Army and OSHA standards for HAZMAT handling, load securement, and workplace safety.
  • Coordination & Customer Service:
  • Provide assistance tounit supply personnel during the turn-in process.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, Quality Assurance staff, and transportation personnel to ensuretimelyprocessing of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with Army representativesregardingdocumentation, discrepancies, andrequiredcorrective actions.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs. and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments.
  • Must also meet all physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high, or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions.
  • This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, periodic overtime, and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; however, equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted.
  • Basicproficiencyin the English language (reading and writing).
  • Knowledge of Army logistical functions.
  • 2–4 years oflogistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
  • Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply, or property accountability operations strongly desired.
  • Army supply and property regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1).

  • Equipment,conditioning,codingand serviceability classification standards.
  • Ability to interpret and process supply documentation (DA and DD forms).
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to operate MHE safely andmaintainproper storage practices.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a high-volume environment.
  • Must have a REAL ID.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Must be able to obtain andmaintaina Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI(Publictrust) background eligibility.
  • Employees maybe requiredto perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
