Job summary

Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate to operate in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Kent, WA. You will support inbound receiving, order selection, pallet building, and loading deliveries, with cross-site travel to Seattle as needed.

The role offers a first-shift schedule, weekly pay, overtime potential, and benefits from day one. Candidates must be 18+, have a valid license, and be able to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willingness to drive a box truck.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift/MHE certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away product in inbound operations.
• Select product for customer orders in Commissary team.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders using forklifts and MHE.
• Load delivery trucks for outbound shipping.
• Travel between Kent and Seattle sites for vending purposes.
• Manage inventory and conduct counts.
• Use WMS and mobile devices to process orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as required by the role.

About This Position

• Weekly production/attendance bonus of $125
• Must be able to work the following shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 2:30pm and Friday 6:00am - 10:30am (overtime as needed typically on Friday's)

Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. As such, we have an opportunity to perform warehouse tasks from receiving product, preparing customer orders and shipping products to our clients. This is a full-time position, with some benefits starting from your first day.

You will work onsite in the warehouse. You will report to the Operations Manager.

We expect our team to complete several processes and therefore believe in cross-training our team across the distribution departments. Also, you can specialize in a specific area.

• Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team.
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team.
• Build, staging, and loading pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) to support our Bulk team.
• Load third-party and internal delivery trucks.
• Must be open to traveling to 2 sites (Kent and Seattle for Vending Purposes and driving a box truck)
• Manage inventory in an environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory.
• Use technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be open to driving a box truck
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
