Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a forklift operator to support warehouse throughput. You will operate a stand-up forklift, replenish shelves, track inventory with a handheld device, and stage goods for shipment. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts available with a pay rate of $25/hour plus $2/hour freezer differential (total $27/hour). Benefits include weekly pay, training, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow SOPs.
• Team-oriented attitude with willingness to help others.
• Ability to work in a cold environment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Stand up forklift to transport merchandise in the warehouse.
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer.
• Stack and rotate merchandise manually or with equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines for timely orders.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all safety protocols for forklift operations.
• Occasionally lift varying case weights as required.

Position Overview

Forklift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Earn $25 per hour + $2 per hour freezer differential= $27 per hour

Shifts available:

• 1st shift: 7:00 am until finished; 4 days on 3 days off
• 2nd Shift: 7:00 pm start time; 4 days on 3 day off; Friday & Sunday mandatory (+$1/Hr night shift differential)

Job Description

• Operating a Stand up forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
