Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in York, PA. The role involves operating a stand up forklift to transport merchandise, stacking pallets, and replenishing pick slots to ensure timely order fulfillment. You must follow safety procedures and be able to lift items up to 60 lbs as needed.

Position is full-time, 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm with possible overtime. Benefits and paid training are offered, with weekly pay and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand up forklift to move merchandise within the warehouse.
• Stack and organize pallets; rotate merchandise as needed.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines for timely order fulfillment.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas; load/unload from trailers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Lift varying case weights safely and efficiently as required.

Job Description

Earn $19/hour Full time, 1st shift - 6am-4:30pm start until done Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday (Overtime required at times) 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York PA

You will contribute by:

• Operating a stand up forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Stacking and organizing empty pallets
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
