Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Garner, NC. You will safely perform a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, staging, loading, and counting products, while using automation systems and forklifts to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and strong math/reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV material handling equipment.
• At least six (6) months of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers.
• Performs check-in/check-out duties and maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Counts goods returned to plant by sales/delivery personnel.
• Interacts with automation systems and screen/pick tickets to verify and record products and build pallets.
• Identifies machine faults and troubleshoots system errors; basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Safely operates forklift and other material handling equipment to store, stage, retrieve, and load products.
• Performs safety checks on machinery and janitorial tasks as needed to maintain a clean space.
• May perform yard switching duties moving trailers between parking areas and docks.
