Job summary

HeyTea is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse & Transportation professional to join our Irvine, CA based Supply Chain team. You will coordinate daily warehouse operations, inbound/outbound transportation, and vendor communications to ensure accurate, on-time store deliveries for California and beyond.

This role may be hired at Specialist or Supervisor level depending on experience, and requires bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations and/or transportation/logistics management.
• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).
• Working knowledge of WMS, TMS, or ERP platforms; proficiency in Excel.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within California.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory put-away, order picking/packing, and outbound shipment prep.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation to stores and distribution points.
• Coordinate with third-party carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors; track shipments and resolve delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support demand and replenishment planning by monitoring store stock levels and restocking ingredients/materials.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, safety, and California labor regulations.
• Prepare shipment, inventory, and cost reports for management review; identify efficiency improvements.
• (Supervisor level) Provide day-to-day guidance to warehouse staff and assist with scheduling and training.
• Communicate updates between Irvine office, warehouse, stores, and HQ in English and Chinese as needed.
• Complete work reports and conduct regular warehouse walkthroughs, including shelf-life management.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse & Transportation professional to join our Supply Chain team in Irvine, CA. This role is responsible for coordinating warehouse operations and transportation logistics to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of goods to company-owned and franchise stores. Depending on the candidate's experience, this position may be hired at the Specialist or Supervisor level.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory put-away, order picking/packing, and outbound shipment preparation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery to stores and distribution points across California and other regions.
• Coordinate with third-party carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors; track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or damage claims.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with the warehouse and store teams.
• Support demand and replenishment planning by monitoring store-level stock levels and coordinating timely restocking of key ingredients and materials.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with applicable food safety, safety, and California labor and workplace regulations (e.g., OSHA, cold-chain handling where applicable).
• Prepare and maintain shipment, inventory, and cost reports for management review; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• (Supervisor level) Provide day-to-day guidance and work direction to warehouse staff; assist with scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Serve as a liaison between the Irvine office, warehouse operations, stores, and headquarters, communicating updates clearly in both English and Chinese as needed.
• Complete work reports and other assigned tasks based on the needs of the company and management.
• Conduct regular warehouse walkthroughs/inspections, including shelf-life and expiration date management of inventory.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations and/or transportation/logistics management, ideally within food & beverage, retail, or CPG supply chain environments.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal) required, to support communication with headquarters and local stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), or ERP platforms; proficiency in Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, vendors, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of inventory control principles and cost/expense tracking related to logistics operations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• (Supervisor level) Prior experience directly guiding or overseeing warehouse staff preferred.
• Valid driver's license; ability to occasionally travel between Irvine office, warehouse, and store locations within California.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is based in our Irvine office with regular on-site visits to warehouse and store locations. Warehouse visits may require standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25-40 lbs.
