Job Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee and direct comprehensive storage and distribution operations, dynamically managing personnel, equipment, and facilities to ensure efficient material handling. Additionally, you will strategically plan workloads, adapt to daily operational fluctuations, and utilize Government Data Systems to guarantee all activities strictly comply with requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operational Leadership & Material Handling
  • Storage and Distribution Management: Oversees end-to-end storage and distribution operations.
  • Personnel Direction: Leads and directs employees engaged in the complete material lifecycle, including receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, and distributing commodities.
  • Equipment Operations: Manages the safe and effective use of automated and manual material-moving equipment, devices, and systems for both bin and bulk materials.
• Resource Planning & Workflow Optimization
  • Capacity Planning: Plans the utilization of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on weekly or monthly projected workloads.
  • Agile Resource Allocation: Redirects workforce and resources on the fly to accommodate daily workload fluctuations and accomplish unanticipated tasks.
  • Task Prioritization: Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences in accordance with the policies and schedules set by the Site Manager or Alternate Site Manager.
  • Strategic Forecasting: Conducts proactive planning for current and future work schedules, generating workload data, staffing estimates, and scheduling recommendations.
• Contract Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Performance Verification: Ensures all work is executed properly, efficiently, and strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.

• Systems Utilization & Data Management

• Technology Integration: Operates Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other designated Government Data Systems to track, manage, and report on operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehousing using DLAs WMS or an equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
• Any related certifications

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• A current Secret clearance is highly desired.
