Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support the Transportation/Warehouse department. The role involves performing material handling, receiving donations, assisting donors, unloading items, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace throughout each shift.

You will complete paperwork such as donor logs and truck manifests, operate equipment like pallet jacks, and follow all safety guidelines. Overtime and weekend work may be required; no formal education is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform simple math.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely.
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends.
• Ability to work in all weather and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of material handling duties and responsibilities to ensure the consistent flow of materials throughout the donated goods and retail division.
• Assist in general warehouse operations by performing assigned duties in warehouse, post-consumer sorting of commodities, outlet rotation and tipping.
• Accurately completes paperwork including but not limited to: Truck manifest forms, powered industrial equipment inspections, SAP scanning.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area that is cleaned of dust, debris, loose clothing and any hazards during and at the end of each shift.
• Receives goods from the general public; unloads donations; provides receipts; determines acceptability; rejects unusable items; maintains donor logs and receipts; keeps donation site clean.
• Promotes an environment of workplace safety and communicates progress to Distribution Center Supervisor.
