Job Description:

Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance

This position is contingent upon contract award

This position performs work requiring advanced knowledge and experience related to logistics, customer service, government property accountability, and government Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract support. The Warehouse Supervisor is a working supervisor, flexible, able to adapt to change, must have a servant leadership mindset, intellectual in nature, and able to routinely exercise discretion and judgment to fulfill operational requirements.

Scope:

The Warehouse Operations Lead reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor for daily operational planning and execution. The Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for providing logistical support to a facilities O&M contract. This position requires the flexibility and performance of a multitude of Integrated Logistics Support functions related to customer service, shipping/receiving, stock item management, material handling, procurement, and vendor management. Candidates for this position must be comfortable working within a secured government facility and the handling, management, and transfer of classified materials.

Daily Duties:
  1. Work within an office or warehouse setting
  2. May need to travel to attend to business related matters
  3. Plan, direct and coordinate activities within assigned work area in accordance with the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, site job instructions, SOPs, policies, government regulations, and the contract Statement of Work
  4. Operate forklift, pallet jack, automated pallet wrapper, dollies/carts, and other critical equipment, with guidance and direction from the Warehouse Supervisor
  5. Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles and/or trailers
  6. Build and stretch wrap pallets
  7. Product handling, preparation and distribution
  8. Ensure material received corresponds with packing slips (manifests) and resolve document/material discrepancies
  9. Commercial/Vendor mail services and routing
  10. Sort and distribute any material requiring dissemination to personnel
  11. Direct and confirm inventory accuracy and control
  12. Develop and lead lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
  13. Collaborate across all disciplines including logistics, procurement, project management, quality, engineering, maintenance, and construction
  14. Operate government or Fluor owned vehicles and equipment required to complete daily duties; to include large box trucks
  15. Maintain effective utilization of all logistical spaces
  16. Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
  17. Organize and prioritize a variety of projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  18. Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
  19. Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
  20. Proactively manage suppliers and vendor managed inventory to ensure delivery schedules are maintained
  21. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Access portals and knowledge communities to stay updated on Fluor events, research, practices, and policies
  • Coordinate with procurement to address/reconcile overages, shortages, and damages
  • Attend weekly meetings as directed
  • Provide status reporting, weekly activities report, and other metrics as required
  • Notify the client upon discovery of equipment, supplies and material that are missing and/or damaged
  • Provide surge support to various cross-functional teams supporting Fluor initiatives on-site
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
  • Ensure proper handling of all sensitive, classified, and/or hazardous materials and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform customer service activities including answering telephones, communicating with site customers, carrier representatives, and drivers
  • Understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Support other elements of the Fluor Logistics Team as directed
