Job summary

PDI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Smyrna, TN. The role involves receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining an organized warehouse and accurate inventory.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and handheld scanners, verifying shipments, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the facility. A High School diploma and warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Forklift certification may be required depending on duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify items against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Stock and organize inventory to maximize space and accessibility.
• Pick and pack orders and prepare items for shipment with proper packing guidance.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and adhere to safety protocols.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
