Job summary

PDI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Smyrna, TN. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include operating equipment safely, inspecting shipments, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards. A high school diploma is required, and prior warehouse experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse training is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in plumbing/lighting/appliance supply.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, sorting.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Stock and store items; maximize space and ensure easy access.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders with accuracy and care.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse, including aisles and debris removal.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
