Job summary

PDI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Georgia distribution team. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to support efficient operations and accurate inventory management.

In this role you will operate forklifts and hand trucks, use WMS and RF scanners, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment while meeting daily deadlines. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in plumbing or appliance supply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the plumbing, lighting, or appliance supply industry.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, and sorting.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Stock and receive products according to procedures; maximize space utilization.
• Retrieve items from inventory using RF scanners; pack items securely for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse; keep aisles clear and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow all safety protocols; wear PPE and adhere to handling guidelines for hazardous materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
