Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist I for the Denton State Supported Living Center location. The role focuses on inventory control, order fulfillment, and safe handling of goods using forklifts and related equipment.

The position offers regular weekday hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm), a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth across Texas facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Experience with inventory control software or similar systems.
• Forklift and other material handling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule.
• Performs picking, loading, staging and delivery of items with proper verification and documentation.
• Loads/unloads stock with lifting equipment and delivers to ordering departments.
• Enters data into inventory systems (MIMS CAPPS) and assists with inventories.
• Participates in COOP plan and other duties as assigned.
