Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission in San Antonio seeks a Warehouse Specialist I to manage inventory, receive goods, and prepare orders for state facilities. This entry-level role supports Supply Services with forklift operation, data entry, and reliable delivery to multiple state facilities.

You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, and engage in COOP activation as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Experience in computer-based inventory control/receiving software.
• Warehouse/inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with forklift and material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular, predictable schedule and performs assigned duties.
• Reviews picking tickets and loads/unloads stock using equipment.
• Loads and unloads warehouse stock and delivers to state facilities using a vehicle.
• Enters data into MIMS for inventory tracking and CAPPS for receiving.
• Performs COOP-related activities as needed.
