Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist I at the Denton facility to manage inventory, receive and ship supplies, and operate forklifts and related equipment. This entry-level role supports patients and facilities through accurate stocking and timely deliveries, under supervision.

Responsibilities include data entry into MIMS, operating handheld devices, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Knowledge of general warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Ability to use a handheld device for inventory management and data entry.
• Forklift operation and safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Attend work on a regular and predictable schedule.
• Process and verify items for picking per tickets.
• Load/Unload stock using lifting equipment.
• Deliver stock to ordering departments in a timely manner.
• Enter data into inventory control and CAPPS systems.
• Participate in COOP planning and related duties.
