Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Compensation: $20.97 - $20.97 per/hour

Tessera is seeking a Motivated and Hard-Working Warehouse Specialist I with a positive/can-do/helpful attitude.

Typical Duties
  • Maintains inventory availability by receiving, storing, replenishing, and accurately tracking warehouse stock to support daily operations and mission requirements.
  • Maintains organized, efficient storage areas by properly stocking inventory, processing returned equipment, and ensuring warehouse readiness.
  • Issues clothing and equipment to authorized personnel while accurately documenting transactions and maintaining inventory accountability.
  • Inspects, evaluates, and documents returned equipment to determine serviceability and compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Processes equipment exchanges by performing both issue and turn-in functions to ensure customers receive properly fitted and serviceable items.
  • Delivers professional customer service by assisting customers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring an efficient and positive service experience.
  • Receives, verifies, documents, and processes incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accountability of organizational equipment and supplies.
  • Supports inventory accuracy by conducting physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with facility and safety standards.
  • Maintains accurate inventory and accountability records through proper use of Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).
  • Safely moves, stores, stages, and relocates inventory while ensuring proper handling, storage, and accountability of equipment.
  • Operates forklifts and material-handling equipment and performs required inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Operates and dispatches government vehicles in compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and safety requirements.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives, operational efficiency, and mission success.
  • All Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working with computers.
  • Ability to organize and alphabetize according to an established filing system.
  • Experience working with Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively as a team.
Physical Requirements

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements
  • A valid state driver's license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.

Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
