Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely perform a variety of warehouse duties across receiving, storage and loading processes.

You will verify products, operate equipment including forklifts and conveyors, and maintain accurate records while adhering to GMP and food safety rules. This role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and working in non-climate controlled environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment.
• At least 6 months forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude desired.
• Good math, reading, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand load instructions and product labels.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and quality of received products and shipments.
• Maintain records for each task (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Count goods returned by sales/delivery personnel.
• Safely operate yard switcher and trucks for loading/unloading.
• Interact with automation systems and voice/paper pick tickets to verify pallets.
• Identify faults and perform basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Operate warehouse equipment to store, move, and load goods.
• Perform safety and pre-trip checks on equipment.
• Carry out janitorial tasks to keep areas clean and organized.
• Follow GMP and food safety guidelines.
