Job summary

Rexel USA in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Associate I, II, or Senior to efficiently fill customer orders and manage receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping of materials. Ensure safety and accuracy in all warehouse transactions and maintain branch inventory control.

This role does not include deliveries. Responsibilities include operating forklift and related equipment, maintaining organized shelves, processing shipments, and supporting counter sales as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Prior warehouse experience a plus
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• High School or GED - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately address safety concerns
• Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
• Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and report freight damage claims
• Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
• Process paperwork regarding shipments including verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct
• Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch including counter sales and customer support
• Perform other duties as assigned
